once you complete it please fax or email it back to us along with the following information for each of your firearms** (or accessory items**)...
- U.S. Vendor's Name and complete address
- U.S. Vendor's Fax Number (so we can send them a copy of our FFL as required by ATF)
- U.S. Vendor's Email address (very important so we can communicate with them)
- Make, Model, Description, Calibre, Barrel Length and Value in US dollars
- Serial Number (if known)
- Indicate Type: Handgun / Rifle / Shotgun / Parts or Accessories / Other
- Indicate Action: Bolt Rifle, Lever Action, Muzzleloader, Over/Under, Side-by-Side, Semi-Auto, Single Shot, Revolver, Pump, etc.
This information is required for us to begin the paperwork process. Leaving information out will only result in delays to your importation.
Import Service Fee... Is for preparation and submission of permit applications (including IIC, DSP-5, DSP-83, etc.), filing of SED, customs document preparation, entry clearance, payment (on customer's behalf) of Canada Customs charges, cross border transportation, firearm verification (where required), registration with CFC (where required), followed by transfer and final shipment (at customer's expense) once final Disbursements Invoice has been paid in full.
Questar's sole responsibility is the preparation and submission of the required permit applications. We cannot guarantee that your application will be approved as we cannot control the various government agencies involved in this process and do not control their approval process. We use our experience and knowledge to give you the best advice possible and where possible, will advise you if we believe that your permit request is unlikely to be successful.
All 3rd Party Purchase importations will require the customer to complete an End User/Purchaser Statement which is forwarded to US State Department with your Export Permit application (see image above).
** Permits and applications are for individual firearm or accessory. Firearms, including optics and or accessories constitute multiple items. IE: A rifle with a scope is 2 items.
** Products that have not been itemized and services purchased for, will NOT be exported and will remain in the U.S.
Note: Ammunition will NOT be exported.
